Solution Architect

Solution Architects are so indispensable to our clients that they become key to those companies both operationally and strategically.

At FrogSlayer, we count on Solution Architects to build relationships at the highest levels of a client's organization and provide ideas and advice that leverage technology to drive business outcomes.

As a Solution Architect, you'll serve many clients directly while also providing support to sales efforts. Solution Architects have strong technical breadth and depth but have the mindset of a business executive and the communication ability of a strong salesperson. Above all, Solution Architects are strategic - you can see around the corners to position your clients for long-term success in the hands of FrogSlayer.

 

In this job, you will:

  • Identify current and future client software requirements by establishing personal rapport with prospective and current clients.
  • Supports sales staff, prospective clients, clients, and project teams by providing guidance on software architecture, technology selection, and development operations
  • Write code for the application scaffolding and complex features.
  • Become an expert in client businesses while building strong working relationships with client stakeholders in both functional and technology business units.
  • Define software architecture, key technology selections, risk analysis, feature backlog, delivery plan with milestones, delivery estimates, staffing plan, and release road map with production deployment plans.
  • Prepares detailed software project charters and proposals.
  • Lead project teams in translating the requirements, technical approaches, constraints, and client expectations to the Project Lead and manager who are chosen for the engagement.

Requirements:

  • Has experience supervising, guiding, or mentoring developers
  • Expert knowledge of software architecture using NGINX, Python, PostgreSQL, C#, .NET, JavaScript
  • Experience working on business problems that are complex and diverse in scope
  • Advanced understanding of business systems and industry requirements
  • Collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develops strong relationships with business leaders
  • Excellent communication and influential skills
  • Architectural and lead development experience in a consulting environment
